Care instructions

All Calming Moments’ weighted lap pads (or lap blankets) are completely machine-washable on cold, gentle cycle if your machine can take the weight.

If not, please take it to a laundromat and wash it there. Please do not tumble dry or dry clean.

Line dry or dry it flat.

You can wash your weighted lap pad on cold, gentle cycle. Dry it flat or on the line.

Jumbo weighted lap pad

This was my first experience with a weighted blanket. I’m a recently diagnosed adult Autistic woman, and was recommended by my assessor to get a weighted lap blanket. As I am someone constantly seeking the feeling of pressure, or being “wrapped up”. I found it difficult to find one that would be heavy enough for my sensory needs, but fortunately came across this one for 5kg! I find it particularly helpful for moments when I am finding it hard to soothe and ground myself.
It’s versatile as you can use it in bed, but it’s also small enough you can use it sitting at a desk or on the couch.
