This durable, washable fabric can sit on your child’s lap or on their desk when not needed. It can be folded or scrunched up without it damaging the print.
The cute design makes children want to use them or look at the faces to describe how they are feeling.
They are also fully machine-washable.
These are lined for durability with triple stitching and filled with our super quite micro glass beads. The printing is professionally dyed into the fabric to ensure that washing doesn’t erase it.
It has a cotton front printed with eight different emotions. The back is raised dot sensory minky.

Care instructions
All Calming Moments’ weighted lap pads (or lap blankets) are completely machine-washable on cold, gentle cycle if your machine can take the weight.
If not, please take it to a laundromat and wash it there. Please do not tumble dry or dry clean.
Weighted lap pads help calm anxiety and improve focus and concentration. They do this through applying a gentle, consistent pressure known as Deep Pressure Touch.
This Deep Pressure Touch (or proprioceptive input) works on your central nervous system.
Firstly, it switches off the “fight or flight” mode in the sympathetic part of the central nervous system.
Then it switches on the parasympathetic nervous system. This physically slows your breathing and heart rate and makes your muscles relax.
The end result is that you feel calmer and less stressed. So then you can focus on the task at hand.
